Misty, one of our twin cats, is also one of our oldest cats. No, she's not a pure breed. However, she was mistaken as one when registered in a pet show in 1995. She won the mixed breed division that year.
Believe it or not, Lucky is Misty's twin sister. My son, Matthew, saw her as a kitten at his friend's home and fell in love with her. So, we adopted her and took in her sister, too. In this picture, she's wearing one of the Chatty Ponchos.
This is Cozy. My son, Matthew, found him as a 5-week-old kitten in 1996. He's been in our family since. He's the Oscar of the cats but that doesn't prevent him from being a sweetheart. He also enjoys the outdoors.
Pikachu is our tri-color female cat. A friend's cat had kittens and Pikachu was one of the last to get a home. She was adopted with my husband in mind but Pikachu adopted my daughter, Shawn. She still loves my husband, however.
C.C. has lived with us since 2000. He found our family three nights after our beloved Butterball died. Butterball must be his guardian angel. C.C. has adopted my daughter, Beth, as his human.
We adopted Scooter August 2003. The family loved and missed Pumpkin and I had wanted another orange cat. While Scooter can't replace Pumpkin, it does feel good having another orange cat in the home. He loves us all and we all "battle" for his affection.
Graysie is my baby. We adopted her a week after Scooter and they go together as a pair. She's about 2 weeks younger than him. Graysie loves for me to baby her. She can also be a vaccum cleaner. Not pictured: Meroko Gone but never forgotten…
Pumpkin (1984-2001) This was our beloved Pumpkin at about age 15 years; still healthy looking, but you could tell he was a senior. Butterball (1994-2000) This is a picture of our late, beloved "Bubba" or Bubby as we often called him, and his famous ELVIS lip!! He was a wonderful cat. Christopher (2001-2003) Our beloved baby cat, Christopher. He died May 28, 2003. He may have been with us shortly but we cherished the time with him. He could always brighten our day. |
