There is more (oh, so much MORE!) to me and my life than Chatty Cathy's!!
Other interests in my life center around the Lord, My Family and Friends, and My Kitty cats!! We also have a ( as in one--just one!!) dog. I love people and life in general and Thank the Lord for my life. Life is short and I do believe that each day is a gift!!
First of all, I want to Thank and Praise God for all of the good in my Life---riches beyond money, almost too numerous to mention but I sure am going to try!

I have my wonderful husband of 28 years, Steve. He is the Wind Beneath My Wings. I am so fortunate and blessed to have him. He is the best man, husband, person!! He is good beyond measure to me and our four kids. He works so hard and provides for us our every need.
Our Kids: We have 4; Not so little anymore, but we have three out of four of them at home, still. (One of them recently moved into her own apt., but still is in town.) We have, Shawn, 25; Nicki, 23; Matthew, 18; and Beth, 16. Who could ask for anything more? We were so blessed to have four children, and a day never passes that I don't keep that in mind. I thank the Lord for all of them, everyday . We are lucky enough to have our oldest still here with us and we love having her at home still, and we'll just keep her till she finds elsewhere she'd rather be…
**Meow** We have 7 cats: Misty, Lucky, Cozy, Pikachu, C.C. (We had C.C. way before I ever got interested in Chatty Cathys. ), Scooter, and Graysie. Four cats are girls, three are boys. All of our cats are neutered or spayed, and we've never had a litter of kittens at our house. But we love cats and the Lord seems to know just where to send needy cats--to us! They show up in our yard, and we let them into our home, hearts and lives. ("Oh, you have a cat?" Yes, we have 7!!)
In Memoriam and worth a mention in our list of cats:
Pumpkin, our orange tabby. He was 17 1/2 years old and like another one of my kids. He was not just a cat. He was my middle child!! Died of old age and complications associated with aging. 1984-2001.
Christopher, 2001-2003
When I originally prepared this page for my webpages, we had SIX cats. Since then, our beloved Christopher passed away unexpectedly. He was barely three years old and died such a senseless death--from flea induced anemia. Yes, I knew the cats had some fleas, but I did not know he was that saturated with them and they literally sucked the life out of him. With the guilt we feel for it having happened, and just losing a really dear cat, it was an extremely painful time for me and my family. I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to ALL of my friends for their love, compassion and condolences. Thank you for you empathy and understanding and helping me to get through this recent period of mourning. Some may think that it's only a cat---but no, our cats are our family members and anytime one of them passes, it takes a chunk out of our hearts, leaving a hole. Christopher, "Squeakums", was the sweetest of souls, and we will continue to miss him for a very long time to come.
We have one DOG, a black labrador retreiver, mixed. He is black and loves water and is sweet and looks just like a lab. Just a bit smaller…His name is RANGER, and he is 5 years old.
In Memorium: Yushee Belle Louise--our beloved German Shepherd. She was a sweetie, too. The world's most gentle dog, ever! She was 12 and 1/2 years old when she died in fall of 1998.
I want to acknowledge all my new on-line friends that I have met through eBay. I have met so MANY nice people via ebay and exploring Chatty Cathy(s). All of you are very special and you know who you are. It's impossible to list everyone, but if you think that I am including you, then I probably am! I love people and you can not love too many people! To all of you wonderful sellers who have been GREAT about working layaways (many, many payments and patience!) with me so that I have been able to acquire all of my dollies, & dress them well, I give you my utmost thanks, again!!
I believe once I got on-line, I became closer to my dear friend, Nancy. And now she shares my interest in Chatty Cathy dolls and beyond. Thanks to her hubby, "Doll Doc Rich" for fixing ALL of my mute Chatties for me. I thank you, the dolls thank you. Hello to "Two2Olives," my friend from the "get-go". To my seamstress friends--ALL OF YOU are so gifted and talented beyond measure and responsible for helping me to dress my Chatties to the Nines!
To all of my other dear friends, and I must be careful not to leave anyone out--dear friends from first grade and ON UP: and from different stages in my life--I love you, too!! Betty, Alice, Gail, Rita, Alice E.,Mary Kay, Shirley--HELLO. Not to forget Joni, my friend, and my cousin. Kudos to two other cousins of mine that I keep in touch with, also--Pat and Mary Alice. Hello to my sister-in-law, Mary Korpan. Sorry we haven't been closer through the years. Mary B. you are a super nice lady, too!! I appreciate you and the Mr. dealing with me and my Bethy and our ways. You are good people.

Oh Gosh--Hello to everybody. Have tried to get a little bit of everyone's names into my dolls!! I have combined in some cases, but have tried to spread my love and fondness…
Life is short, people, enjoy it! Don't take it too seriously, if you don't have to do so. And don't forget to take the time to stop and thank the Lord for that wonderful life and be grateful that we all live in this wonderful country of The United States of America.
BESIDES remembering to Thank God for all of the Good In Our Lives on a daily basis, just remember this: You can please all of the people some of the time; some of the people all of the time; but you can never please all of the people, all of the time!!

PS. A GREAT BIG THANKS TO NANCY FOR THE FIRST SEVERAL PHOTO SHOOTS!! We used her camera for the first FOUR. Shawn photographed dolls for the first two or three, for the most part. BUT NANCY TOOK and DID all the pictures for my photo shoot around New Year's 2004. She did a lot a work and dressed and photographed my many dollies. Thank you for use of your camera SO MANY TIMES!! And for taking the pix. Shawn says it's too much work to individually mark the pix you took!! HA HA~~ SO this extra thanks will have to do! Thanks Shawn and Beth for other pix since we got our own digital camera FINALLY!! Where would I be without my dear Nancy, Girlfriend-Sister-Woman, and my daughters!!!
